The L.A. iCon Project started because I wanted to find a way to combine my love for sports and LA with a charitable cause.
The goal was to design portraits of LA sports icons in a unique way. By using dim versions of the colors, I was able to make a pallet that fit every individual team while still connecting the pieces as a collection.
A limited run of 11x17in posters were printed on 100% cotton paper by local print shops to be sold with all benefits going towards charities in the Los Angeles area, such as Red Star Rider and Boys & Girls Club of LA.
